On behalf of the Royal Oaks Homeowners Association Section 3, welcome to our website.  We are the last of three sections nestled in the Royal Oaks Subdivision located in Spotsylvania County just 5 miles west of the Colonial City of Fredericksburg, Virginia.  We are midway between Washington, DC just 50 miles to the North and Richmond, VA just 50 miles to the South - Royal Oaks offers residents the perfect blend of conveniences and easy access to both metro areas.  Locally, homeowners are only minutes away from shopping, surrounded in Colonial History with 3 major Civil War Battlefields nearby plus Old Town Fredericksburg where visitors and residents can walk where many of our Nations Founders lived - the most famous being George Washington who grew up across the river at Ferry Farms. Our children attend the better Spotsylvania County Public schools with Riverbend High School being the most sought after HS in the County located within walking distance of the neighborhood. Our younger children attend Freedom Middle School and Harrison Road Elementary School.
